BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2010 - ABM Artists Win Awards!
Last night the annual Folk Awards were held at The Brewery, London. Huge congratulations to the following artists who won awards:
Following Jon's highly acclaimed 'Painted Lady' album, his second solo album 'Songs from the Floodplain' has been extremely well received.
The dynamic trio have now won 'Best Group' for the last three years in a row!
Martin Simpson - Best Traditional Track (with 'Sir Patrick Spens')
Martin received an unprecedented 6 nominations for this album bringing his career total for nominations to an equally unprecedented 23!
A special mention also goes to John Kirkpatrick who won the Musician of the Year award. You can see John touring with Brass Monkey in April and October this year.
